The eleventh volume of the novel Nachi Kio and illustrator Erected‘S Boku-tachi no remake (Redo our life!) the light novel series revealed on Thursday that the series will conclude with its twelfth volume in 2023.

The story centers on unsuccessful director Kyōya Hashiba. His business fails and he ends up returning to his parents’ home. He reads in bed thinking about the successful creators of his generation of him. When he opens his eyes, Kyōya discovers that he has gone back 10 years to when he started college. He has the opportunity to redo his life, starting as an arts college student. He now he lives in a shared house of four people. Kyōya has the chance to spend his formative years with creators he knows will be famous in the future, but things may not turn out as he expected.
Kio launched the novel series with the first volume in March 2017, featuring illustrations by Erected. Novels ranked sixth on the list of Best Light Novels in Takarajimasha‘S Kono Light Novel and Sugoi! (This Light Novel Is Amazing!) For 2018 and the series ranked seventh on the list for 2019.
The novels inspired a television anime adaptation that premiered in July 2021. Crispy roll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan. Crispy roll started broadcasting in English you B for the anime on August 3.
Bonjin Hirameki launched a manga adaptation in Kodansha‘S Suiyobi no Sirius (Wednesday Sirius) section on the Nico Nico Seiga service in November 2018. The manga switched to Magazine pocket in September 2019. The manga ended on April 4th. Kodansha released the seventh and final volume of the manga’s compiled book on May 9th.
