Metaversi aimed at generation Z: the place

Chinese social networking company Inkeverse has announced that it will launch a new metaverse product aimed at Gen Z teenagers called “The Place”. Similar to other major metaverse platforms, the venue will consist of a 3D virtual world and facilitate immersive social experiences through unique environments and real-time audio interactions.

Once registered, users will be invited to customize their avatars by changing their faces, bodies and clothes. From there, they will be able to freely roam the place, where they can interact with other users and participate in unique online activities. Targeting a young audience, the platform will offer virtual skateboards, graffiti, night clubs, video rooms, concerts and more. Although Inkeverse is a Chinese company, the new metaverse platform is slated to launch in the US and Europe.
