Students at a progressive institution like The Raya School have the freedom to ask questions and discuss issues that affect their lives, said school director Ani Almario in the latest episode of The Howie Severino Podcast.
“May your children read in the US and increase your attention with your friends in your house. Your young teens will not be, but talking about sexuality and gender,” said Almario.
“And I think Raya has given them a very, large and open place to talk about their ideas about gender and sexuality and, to be very honest, their feelings about those issues,” she added.
Almario is also the editor of Adarna Books.
“Ganyan kami sa halos lahat ng isyu. If pinag-uusapan finger ay gender, pinag-uusapan ay women’s rights, pinag-uusapan ang pulitika, hanggang ‘yung giyera sa Russia in Ukraine,’ yung various perspectives on it, malaya, “Almario said.
“Malaya kang magtaong at malaya kang makipagdiskusyon,” he added.
