The Killers are back with a new song, “boy”. The song, which the band premiered last month at Madrid’s Mad Cool Festival, was produced by the Killers, Stuart Price and Shawn Everett. Take a look below.
“This was the first song written after we had to cancel the Implode the Mirage tour because of the pandemic, “Brandon Flowers said in a statement.” I had recently moved to Utah and started traveling to Nephi, where I grew up. I found that the place I so desperately wanted to get away from at 16 was now a place I couldn’t stop returning to. I have a son who is approaching the age I was at that time in my life. With “boy”, I want to reach out and tell myself – and my kids – not to think too much about it. And look for the ‘white arrows’ in their lives. For me now, the white arrows are my wife, my children, my songs and the stage. “
Last year, the killers followed Implode the Mirage with a new record, Pressure machine.
